Program Dates and Location
The Program will be held in Austin, Texas. It will start in the evening of March 5th (Sunday) and end on March 24th (Friday), 2017.
Austin is the capital of the State of Texas. The city is surrounded by hills, lakes, and golf courses. The climate is expected to be comfortable and pleasant at the time the Program will be held. The University of Texas, which is one of the largest and highly respected institution of a higher education in the United States, is located in Austin.
Room & Board
The participants may stay at the Renaissance Hotel in Austin where the Program will be held, or they may stay at fully furnished deluxe suites with kitchens called Marriott Towneplace Suites which are located about a mile from the Renaissance Hotel. The room rate at Marriott Towneplace Suites is $114 plus taxes. The room rate at the Renaissance Hotel is $179 plus taxes. A few rooms have been set aside at these hotels at these especially reduced rates for a limited time only. Therefore, to avail these special rates the participants must make the room reservations as early as possible.
Registration Fee
The registration fee for the three-week program is U.S. $5,900. The fee includes the cost of tuition and course material and is due by January 31, 2017.
The Institute for Petroleum Development reserves the right to cancel the Program. In such an instance, the registration fees will be refunded in full. The Institute may substitute faculty or program content, if necessary.
Due to an extremely keen interest in the Program in the past, we have been unable to accommodate some of the late registrants. Therefore, it is highly recommended that the participants should Register at their earliest convenience. This will also help in reserving hotel rooms at the especially reduced rated. Furthermore, kindly note that due to new restrictions, it can take several weeks for U.S. visa applications to be processed; PLEASE APPLY EARLY!
Certificate
The participants will be awarded a "Certificate of Attendance" upon completion of the Program. |
